We are located in Roosevelt park in Minot ND. We officially operate during swimming pool season of the park. However; Engineers manage to operate the train late into the spring through early fall pending on weather conditions and engineer availability. Fees are Free for 5 and under, 6 to adult is $2.50. The Train
It is owned and operated by the RailRoad Museum of Minot. The train is 2/5 scale modeled after a F7 Great Northren steam train. . It has amazing scaled down detail. The MCE was established in 1989. The original manufacture recently stated it is a one of a kind train.
Engineers
Magic City Express engineers are Volunteers of the RailRoad Museum of Minot. They volunteer their own time giving young and old a chance to experience or relive riding the railroad.
